وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
Wa qātilū fī sabīli -llahi wa-ʻ'lamū 'anna -llaha samīʻun ʻalīmun
Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.

So strive for Allah's cause, knowing that He hears and knows all.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why mention that Allah hears and knows?"
My #QuranTime posted a short recitation of ayat 243–245 of Al-Baqarah. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names are here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does this give courage?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 244. After the story of those who fled, believers are told to stand firm in Allah's way, defending what is right, knowing Allah hears and knows.
Fact: As-Sami' and Al-'Alim are paired many times in the Qur'an.
Ages 5–8: Courage. Talk about standing up for what's right.
Ages 9–12: Allah hears. Write how knowing Allah hears gives courage.
Finish with: "Allah hears and ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand up for what's right once."
Action: Stand up for what's right once.
