وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
Wa qātilū fī sabīli -llahi -lladhīna yuqātilūnakum' walā taʻ'tadū . 'inna -llaha lā yuḥibbu l-muʻ'tadīna
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

4-I guide
The believers were permitted to defend themselves against those who fought them, but were told never to go beyond limits, for Allah does not love those who go too far.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Are there rules even in defending yourself?"
MZG has a short Al-Baqarah clip of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 187–190. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does Allah not love?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why must believers never go too far?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 190. This was for the small Madinah community under attack. Self-defence was allowed, but with strict limits: no harming those who don't fight, no going too far.
Fact: The Prophet forbade harming children, women, the elderly and those not fighting (Muslim).
Ages 5–8: Limits. Talk about staying calm and fair when upset.
Ages 9–12: Rules of fairness. Write why limits matter.
Finish with: "Do not go ___ limits."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay fair even when I'm angry."
Action: Stay fair even when you'm angry.
