ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَفِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ
Dhālika bi'anna -llaha nazzala l-kitāba bil-ḥaqqi . wa'inna -lladhīna (i)kh'talafū fī l-kitābi lafī shiqāqin baʻīdin
(Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).

That is because Allah sent down the Book with the truth, and those who argue about it are deeply divided.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why does arguing about the Qur'an divide people?"
A short clip on Madrasah Alfatiha recites ayat 176–180 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How was the Book sent?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do arguments divide?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 176. The Qur'an is truth. Arguing to win, instead of seeking understanding, divides people. We study it humbly together.
Fact: Shiqaq means deep division.
Ages 5–8: Study together. Read an ayah with family and share thoughts.
Ages 9–12: Unity. Write how to study without arguing.
Finish with: "Allah sent the Book in ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read the Qur'an with my family once."
Action: Read the Qur'an with your family once.
