إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلسُّوٓءِ وَٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
'Innamā ya''murukum bi ssū'i wal-faḥ'shā'i wa'an taqūlū ʻalā-llahi mā lā taʻ'lamūna
For he commands you what is evil and shameful, and that ye should say of Allah that of which ye have no knowledge.

Shaytan orders you to do wrong and shameful things and to say about Allah what you do not know.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does Shaytan want us to do?"
A short clip on Islamic Education recites ayat 166–170 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things does he order?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is speaking about Allah without knowledge harmful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 169. Shaytan pushes towards wrong, shameful acts and false claims about Allah. Knowing his tricks helps us avoid them.
Fact: Saying about Allah what one doesn't know is listed among serious wrongs (7:33).
Ages 5–8: Shaytan's tricks. List three of Shaytan's tricks.
Ages 9–12: Avoid. Write how to avoid Shaytan's orders.
Finish with: "Don't say about Allah what you don't ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say a'udhu billah when I feel tempted."
Action: Say a'udhu billah when you feel tempted.
