Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What if people disagree with you?"

Begin a reciter's Al-Baqarah on Online Teaching Center and listen for a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is enough for the Prophet?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Allah enough?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 137. When people opposed the Prophet, Allah promised to be enough for him. Whoever has Allah on their side needs no one else.

Fact: Fa sayakfikahumullah means 'Allah will suffice you against them'.

Ages 5–8: Enough. Say hasbiyallah when worried.

Ages 9–12: Allah suffices. Write how Allah is enough.

Finish with: "Allah will ___ you."

Talk together:

• What if they believe?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Who is enough?
• When will you remember this?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say hasbiyallah when I'm worried."

• Allah is enough.
• He hears.
• Trust Him.
• Next time: the next ayah (2:138) speaks of Allah's colour. Explore it together!

Action: Say hasbiyallah when you'm worried.
