وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
Wa qālū kūnū hūdan 'aw' naṣārā tah'tadū . qul' bal' millata 'ib'rāhīma ḥanīfan . wamā kāna mina l-mush'rikīna
They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."

Some said: become Jews or Christians and you will be guided; say: rather, we follow the way of Ibrahim, the upright, who never set up partners with Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which way did Ibrahim follow?"
a reciter recites Al-Baqarah on Hafalan 5 Ayat. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is Ibrahim called?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why go back to Ibrahim?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 135. Ibrahim lived before Judaism and Christianity were named. His way was pure worship of Allah. Islam continues it.
Fact: Hanif means turning away from false gods towards Allah alone.
Ages 5–8: Hanif. Learn the word hanif and its meaning.
Ages 9–12: Back to Ibrahim. Write why Ibrahim's way unites.
Finish with: "Ibrahim was ___, upright."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn about Ibrahim's search for Allah."
Action: Learn about Ibrahim's search for Allah.
