Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Are all questions good questions?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to a reciter reciting Al-Baqarah, shared by Hafalan 5 Ayat.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who was questioned before?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes a question good or bad?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 108. Questions to learn are good. Questions to trouble or avoid obeying, like those about the cow, are not.

Fact: The Prophet said: leave me as I leave you; those before you were ruined by excessive questions (Bukhari).

Ages 5–8: Good question. Ask a question to learn something.

Ages 9–12: Good questions. Write the difference between good and bad questions.

Finish with: "Ask questions to ___."

Talk together:

• Who was questioned?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Good vs bad questions?
• What will you ask?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask one good question to learn."
