ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّۭا
Thumma nunajjī -lladhīna (i)ttaqaw wwanadharu ẓẓālimīna fīhā jithiyyan
But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees.

Allah will save those who were mindful of Him and leave the wrongdoers there on their knees.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What keeps someone safe in a storm?"
Hear the opening minutes of Maryam in Ahmed Al-Ajmi's voice, from LISTENNN..
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will Allah save?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does taqwa protect us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 72. Taqwa, mindfulness of Allah, is like a lifeboat. Allah saves those who were careful to please Him. The wrongdoers remain, a calm warning to choose good.
Fact: Find the ayah that says Allah makes a way out for the mindful (At-Talaq 65:2).
Ages 5–8: Lifeboat. Draw a boat with good deeds as its parts.
Ages 9–12: Taqwa. Write how taqwa protects you every day.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one thing because Allah sees me."
Action: Do one thing because Allah sees you.
