وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا
Wa -dh'kur' fī l-kitābi 'id'rīssa . 'innahu kāna ṣiddīqan nnabiyyan

Allah tells us to remember Idris, who was truthful and a prophet.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many prophets' names do you know?"
Hear the opening minutes of Maryam in Nasser Al-Qatami's voice, from The Verbatim Word of Allah, The Miraculous Qur'an.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which prophet is mentioned now?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What do we know about Idris?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 56. Idris, peace be upon him, is mentioned only a few times in the Quran. He was truthful and a prophet. Allah honoured him greatly.
Fact: Find the other surah that mentions Idris (Al-Anbiya 21:85).
Ages 5–8: Prophet count. Count the prophets named in Surah Maryam so far.
Ages 9–12: Prophets list. Write the 25 prophets named in the Quran with help.
Finish with: "I counted ___ prophets."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the names of ten prophets."
Action: Learn the names of ten prophets.
