Zakariya called on his Lord quietly, in a private du'a.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do you have to shout for Allah to hear you?"
Ammar TV has a short clip of ayat 1–15 recited softly. Play the whole clip and listen for Zakariya's quiet du'a.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did Zakariya call his Lord?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why make du'a quietly?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 3. Zakariya's du'a was soft and secret. Allah hears even a whisper, so a quiet du'a stays just between you and Him.
Fact: Find the ayah in Al-A'raf about calling on your Lord humbly and in private (7:55).
Ages 5–8: Whisper du'a. Whisper a du'a so softly only Allah hears.
Ages 9–12: Private du'a. Write why a quiet du'a can feel special.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a quiet du'a before sleeping."
Action: Make a quiet du'a before sleeping.
