4-I guide
Allah gave Yahya a tender heart and purity, and he was mindful of Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does a tender heart feel like?"
Hear the opening minutes of Maryam in Yasser Al-Dosari's voice, from Timeless Recitations.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two gifts did Yahya have?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I have a tender heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Maryam is surah 19. Find ayah 13. Hanan means tenderness and kindness. Zakah here means purity. Yahya was gentle, clean-hearted and always aware of Allah.
Fact: Find another place where Yahya is praised (Al-Anbiya 21:90).
Ages 5–8: Gentle hands. Care gently for a plant or pet.
Ages 9–12: Tender heart. Write three ways to be gentle.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be gentle with someone who is upset."
Action: Be gentle with someone who is upset.

Be gentle with animals and wash hands after.
