Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How do you make a wall super strong?"

Listen to a few minutes of Al-Kahf as the strong barrier is described.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two metals did he use?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why heat the iron and pour copper over it?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 96. A sign to ponder: heating iron and adding melted copper makes a strong, solid barrier. Allah taught people how to use metals. Knowledge used well protects people.

Fact: At what temperature does copper melt? Find out.

Ages 5–8: Metal hunt. Find things made of iron or copper at home.

Ages 9–12: Engineering. Write how science can protect people.

Finish with: "I found copper melts at about ___°C."

Talk together:

• Why use metals?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Who taught people about metals?
• How can science help?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one fact about metals."

• Learn about metals.
• Go on a metal hunt.
• Share your writing.
• Next time: the next ayah (18:97) says they couldn't climb it. Explore it together!

Action: Learn one fact about metals.
