إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ زِينَةًۭ لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًۭا
'Innā jaʻalnā mā ʻalāl-'ar'ḍi zīnatan llahā linab'luwahum' 'ayyuhum' 'aḥ'sanu ʻamalan
That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct.

4-I guide
Allah made what is on the earth beautiful as a test, to see who does the finest deeds.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is the world so beautiful?"
Play the short clip from Fadlul Islam of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 1–10 of Al-Kahf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the beauty of the earth for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can beautiful things be a test?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 7. A sign to ponder: flowers, gems and gardens are gifts and also tests. Do we thank Allah and use them well, or forget Him? The test is about our best deeds.
Fact: Find the ayah that says Allah created death and life to test who is best in deeds (Al-Mulk 67:2).
Ages 5–8: Beauty walk. Find three beautiful things and say subhanallah.
Ages 9–12: Tested. Write how beautiful things can test us.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for one beautiful thing each day."
Action: Thank Allah for one beautiful thing each day.
