قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ ۚ فَٱرْتَدَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًۭا
Qāla dhālika mā kunnā nab'ghi . fa-r'taddā ʻalā 'āthārihimā qaṣaṣan
Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come).

Musa said that was exactly the place they were looking for, so they went back the way they came, following their footprints.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when you realise you passed the right place?"
Begin Khalid Al-Jaleel's Al-Kahf on القناة الرسمية للشيخ خالد الجليل and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did they go back?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't Musa get upset?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 64. Musa didn't blame or shout. He calmly turned back. Going back to fix a mistake is wise, not a failure.
