Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why doesn't Allah punish people straight away?"

Hear Al-Minshawi recite Al-Kahf (shared by a Quran channel) for a few quiet minutes before the ayah.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two qualities of your Lord are mentioned?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How is giving time a mercy?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 58. Al-Ghafur forgives; Dhur-Rahmah is full of mercy. Allah gives people time to change. Every day is a new chance.

Fact: Find the ayah that says Allah doesn't punish straight away (Fatir 35:45).

Ages 5–8: Mercy rain. Draw rain falling as mercy on a garden.

Ages 9–12: New chances. Write how every day is a chance to change.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:

• Why give time?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How is time a mercy?
• What chance will you take?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will use today's chance to fix a mistake."

• Fix a mistake.
• Show your drawing.
• Share your writing.
• Next time: the next ayah (18:59) mentions destroyed towns. Explore it together!

Action: Use today's chance to fix a mistake.
