Listen to the opening of Fatih Seferagic's Al-Kahf, from his own channel.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did people learn was true?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does this story prove life after death?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 21. The youths slept for centuries and woke up. It showed people that Allah can bring the dead back to life. Then people argued about what to do with them.

Fact: Find another ayah about Allah bringing people back to life (Al-Baqarah 2:259).

Ages 5–8: Sleep and wake. Talk about how waking up is like a small rising.

Ages 9–12: Promise. Write how this story shows Allah's promise is true.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
