وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِ ۖ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّى وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا
Wa yas''alūnaka ʻani rrūḥi . quli rrūḥu min' 'am'ri rabbī wamā 'ūtītum mmina l-ʻil'mi 'illā qalīlan
They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"

They ask about the Spirit; say it is from my Lord's command, and people have been given only a little knowledge.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Are there things humans will never fully understand?"
Begin a reciter's Al-Isra on Quran with Dr. AR Khan and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How much knowledge have we been given?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it okay not to know everything?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 85. Ar-Ruh, the Spirit, is something only Allah truly knows. Humans have learned a lot, but it's only a little compared to Allah's knowledge. That keeps us humble. Ask your ustaz or ustazah to learn more.
Fact: Find the ayah about Allah's endless words if the sea were ink (Al-Kahf 18:109).
Ages 5–8: Little and big. Compare a cup of water with the ocean.
Ages 9–12: Humble learner. Write why knowing we know little keeps us humble.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'Allah knows best' when I don't know something."
Action: Say 'Allah knows best' when you don't know something.
