وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِۦ نَافِلَةًۭ لَّكَ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًۭا مَّحْمُودًۭا
Wa mina -llay'li fatahajjad' bihī nāfilatan llaka ʻassā 'an yab'ʻathaka rabbuka maqāman mmaḥ'mūdan
And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory!

Pray during part of the night as an extra act; perhaps your Lord will raise the Prophet to a praised position.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is praying at night special?"
Play the short Al-Isra clip of ayat 78–82 from Omer Amin - عمر أمين.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What might Allah raise the Prophet to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is night prayer so loved?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 79. Tahajjud is an extra prayer at night when it's quiet. It brings us close to Allah. The Prophet was promised a praised position.
Fact: Find the ayah praising those who pray at night (Adh-Dhariyat 51:17–18).
Ages 5–8: Quiet night. Pray two rak'ahs before sleeping.
Ages 9–12: Tahajjud. Write why night prayer is special.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pray two extra rak'ahs before bed."
Action: Pray two extra rak'ahs before bed.
