وَلَوْلَآ أَن ثَبَّتْنَٰكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْـًۭٔا قَلِيلًا
Wa law'lā 'an thabbat'nāka laqad' kidtta tar'kanu 'ilay'him' shay''an qalīlan
And had We not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little.

If Allah had not kept him firm, he might have leaned towards them a little.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who keeps your heart steady?"
Hear the opening minutes of Al-Isra in Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi's voice, from القناة الرسمية للشيخ محمد صديق المنشاوي.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who made the Prophet firm?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah keep hearts firm?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 74. Even the Prophet relied on Allah to stay firm. We also need Allah's help to stay steady. We ask for it in du'a.
Fact: Find the du'a 'our Lord, don't let our hearts swerve' (Al Imran 3:8).
Ages 5–8: Roots. Draw a tree with deep roots in a storm.
Ages 9–12: Steady heart. Write why we need Allah to keep us firm.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for a firm heart."
Action: Make du'a for a firm heart.
