قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ ٱلضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا تَحْوِيلًا
Quli (u)d'ʻū -lladhīna zaʻam'tum mmin dūnihī falā yam'likūna kash'fa ḍḍurri ʻankum' walā taḥ'wīlan
Say: "Call on those - besides Him - whom ye fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them."

Call on those you claim besides Allah: they cannot remove any harm from you or change it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who can take away your troubles?"
mohammad ameen al hussin has the whole of Al-Isra by Hazza Al-Balushi. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can false gods not do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why call on Allah alone?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 56. False gods can't help with any problem. Only Allah removes harm. That's why our du'a goes to Him alone.
Fact: Find the ayah 'who answers the distressed when he calls' (An-Naml 27:62).
Ages 5–8: Du'a time. Make a du'a about something that worries you.
Ages 9–12: Only Allah. Write why we bring our troubles to Allah.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a when I'm worried."
Action: Make du'a when you're worried.
