Mishary Alafasy recites Al-Isra on Alafasy. A few minutes is plenty.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the ayah call these commands?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the list start and end with tawhid?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 39. The commands are called hikmah, wisdom. The list begins and ends with worshipping Allah alone. Everything good grows from tawhid. The warning is calm and clear.

Fact: Compare 17:22 and 17:39. What is the same?

Ages 5–8: Wisdom tree. Draw a tree with tawhid as the trunk and good deeds as branches.

Ages 9–12: Hikmah. Write which piece of wisdom you like most.

Finish with: "I found both say ___."
