وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْجِبَالَ طُولًۭا
Wa lā tam'shi fī l-'ar'ḍi maraḥan . 'innaka lan takh'riqa l-'ar'ḍa walan tab'lugha l-jibāla ṭūlan
Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.

4-I guide
Do not walk on the earth with pride; you can never break through the earth or grow as tall as the mountains.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How tall is a mountain compared to you?"
Al-Ossi recites ayat 1–49 on a recitation channel. Play from around the middle, where the list of wise commands is.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things can we never do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is pride silly when you think about mountains?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 37. A sign to ponder: Mount Everest is about 8,849 metres high, and the Earth is about 12,742 km wide. Compared to them we are tiny. Pride makes no sense.
Fact: How tall is the tallest mountain? Compare it with your height.
Ages 5–8: Look up. Lie on the grass and look up at the sky, then talk about how small we are.
Ages 9–12: Humility. Write why humility makes sense.
Finish with: "I found it is ___ times taller than me."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will walk and speak humbly."
Action: Walk and speak humbly.
