وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ رِزْقًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
Wa yaʻ'budūna min dūni -llahi mā lā yam'liku lahum' riz'qan mmina ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi shay''an walā yas'taṭīʻūna
And worship others than Allah,- such as have no power of providing them, for sustenance, with anything in heavens or earth, and cannot possibly have such power?

They worship besides Allah things that have no power to give them any provision from the heavens or the earth, and never could.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can a statue give you food?"
Play the short An-Nahl clip of ayat 71–83 from Khalid Quran Academy.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can't false gods provide?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why rely only on Allah for provision?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 73. False gods can't provide rain, food or anything. Only Allah, Ar-Razzaq, provides. So we ask Him alone.
Fact: Track down Ar-Razzaq in Adh-Dhariyat 51:58.
Ages 5–8: Ask Allah. Make a du'a asking Allah for good food for everyone.
Ages 9–12: Ar-Razzaq. Write what this name means to you.
Finish with: "Adh-Dhariyat 51:58 calls Allah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for my needs in du'a."
Action: Ask Allah for your needs in du'a.
