يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ ۩
Yakhāfūna rabbahum mmin faw'qihim' wayaf'ʻalūna mā yu''marūna [۩]
They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded.

They fear their Lord, who is above them, and do whatever they are commanded.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do angels do all the time?"
Put on Saud Ash-Shuraim's An-Nahl from The Noble Quran and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the angels do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be obedient like the angels?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 50. The angels respect Allah, who is above them in a way that suits His majesty, and they do whatever He commands. They are wonderful examples of obedience.
Fact: Look up At-Tahrim 66:6, which says angels never disobey Allah.
Ages 5–8: Quick obey. Practise doing what your parents ask straight away.
Ages 9–12: Obedience. Write what we can learn from the angels.
Finish with: "At-Tahrim 66:6 says ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will obey my parents straight away."
Action: Obey your parents straight away.
