وَٱصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِى ضَيْقٍۢ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
Wa -ṣ'bir' wamā ṣab'ruka 'illā bi-llahi . walā taḥ'zan' ʻalay'him' walā taku fī ḍay'qin mmimmā yam'kurūna
And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.

Be patient, for your patience comes only with Allah's help, and do not grieve over them or be distressed by their plots.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does patience come from?"
Listen to the closing ayat of An-Nahl and notice the word for patience, sabr, repeated near the end.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does the Prophet's patience come from?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I ask Allah for patience?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 127. Even patience is a gift from Allah. When we feel upset, we ask Allah for patience. He helps us not to be sad or worried.
Fact: Track down Al-Baqarah 2:250, a du'a for patience.
Ages 5–8: Patience du'a. Learn 'Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabra' (give us patience).
Ages 9–12: Gift of patience. Write how to ask Allah for patience.
Finish with: "Al-Baqarah 2:250 asks for ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for patience daily."
Action: Ask Allah for patience daily.
