Ask: "Do teachers teach the hardest lessons first?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to Saad Al-Ghamdi reciting An-Nahl, shared by Al Quran.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who knows best what He sends?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why were some rulings given step by step?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 101. Allah sent some rulings in stages, like a good teacher. People who didn't understand said the Prophet invented it. Allah knows best.

Fact: Search the Quran for Al-Baqarah 2:106 about Allah replacing ayat with better or similar ones.

Ages 5–8: Step by step. Talk about learning something step by step.

Ages 9–12: Wisdom. Write why teaching in stages is wise.

Finish with: "Al-Baqarah 2:106 says ___."

Talk together:

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why teach in stages?
• What are you learning step by step?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one small step of something new."
