لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًۭا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
How to read it
Lā tamuddanna ʻay'nay'ka 'ilā mā mattaʻ'nā bihī 'az'wājan mmin'hum' walā taḥ'zan' ʻalay'him' wa-kh'fiḍ' janāḥaka lil'mu''minīna
Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers.
