فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Fa-ntaqam'nā min'hum' wa'innahumā labi'imāmin mmubīnin
So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see.

4-I guide
Allah held them to account, and both towns lie on a clear, open road.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why are lessons left in plain sight?"
Hear the opening minutes of Al-Hijr in Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad's voice, from VOICE OF ISLAM.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where are both towns?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What do these ruins teach?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hijr is surah 15. Find ayah 79. Both towns, Lut's and the people of the Wood, faced consequences. Their places are on open roads, plain lessons for anyone passing.
Fact: Find where Madyan, Shu'ayb's town, was on a map.
Ages 5–8: Map lesson. Find Madyan on a map with an adult.
Ages 9–12: Plain lessons. Write what these two towns teach.
Finish with: "I found Madyan is near ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember to be honest and pure."
Action: Remember to be honest and pure.
