4-I guide
Iblis asked Allah to give him more time until the Day people are raised.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What did Iblis ask for instead of forgiveness?"
Settle down and play the start of Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad's Al-Hijr (Quran Recitations).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Iblis ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't Iblis ask for forgiveness?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hijr is surah 15. Find ayah 36. Instead of saying sorry, Iblis asked for time. Adam asked for forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness is always the better choice.
Fact: Find Adam's du'a for forgiveness (Al-A'raf 7:23).
Ages 5–8: Sorry first. Practise saying sorry instead of arguing.
Ages 9–12: Choices. Write the difference between Iblis's and Adam's requests.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah each day."
Action: Say astaghfirullah each day.
