Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Have you ever asked for 'just five more minutes'?"

Play the short clip from Islamic Gems of Abdallah Humeid reciting ayat 42–52 of Ibrahim.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will the wrongdoers ask for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is now the right time to obey Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ibrahim is surah 14. Find ayah 44. On that Day some people will beg for more time, promising to follow the messengers. But the time to choose is now. They once thought their power would last forever; it did not.

Fact: See if you can locate a similar request for more time in Al-Munafiqun 63:10.

Ages 5–8: Not later, now. Choose one good thing you keep delaying and do it today.

Ages 9–12: Now, not later. Write why putting off good deeds is risky.

Finish with: "In Al-Munafiqun 63:10, people ask for ___."

Talk together:

• What will they ask for?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why not wait to do good?
• What good thing will you stop delaying?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good thing I have been putting off."

• Do good now.
• Stop delaying.
• Tell someone one line from your now, not later writing.
• Next time: the next ayah (14:45) reminds them of the ruins they lived among. Explore it together!

Action: Do one good thing you have been putting off.
