Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the Prophet commanded to do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does 'to Him is my return' mean for me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 36. Some people who knew earlier scriptures were happy with the Quran. Others rejected parts. Either way, the Prophet's message stays simple: worship Allah alone, call on Him, and remember we all return to Him.

Fact: Find the short phrase we say when someone passes away: 'inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un' (Al-Baqarah 2:156).

Ages 5–8: Simple message. Say the message in one sentence: 'I worship Allah alone.'

Ages 9–12: Return. Write what 'to Him is my return' means and how it shapes our day.

Finish with: "Al-Baqarah 2:156 teaches us to say ___."

Talk together:

• What is the Prophet's simple message?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why do we say inna lillahi?
• How will you remember we return to Allah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the meaning of inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un."
