وَٱلَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوٓءَ ٱلْحِسَابِ
Wa -lladhīna yaṣilūna mā 'amara -llahu bihī 'an yūṣala wayakh'shaw'na rabbahum' wayakhāfūna sū'a l-ḥissābi
Those who join together those things which Allah hath commanded to be joined, hold their Lord in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning;

They keep close the ties Allah has commanded to be kept, stand in awe of their Lord, and fear a hard reckoning.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which relatives have you not seen for a long time?"
Listen together as Utsman Sholeh Al-Makky recites ayat 19–24 of Ar-Ra'd, a short clip shared by Manarul Islam.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do these people keep joined?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I keep my family ties strong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 21. Allah tells us to keep ties with family and relatives. People of understanding visit, call and help them. They do this because they care about Allah and know they will be asked.
Fact: Find the ayah about being good to relatives in An-Nisa 4:36.
Ages 5–8: Call a relative. Make a call or send a voice message to a grandparent or cousin.
Ages 9–12: Family ties. Write how a family is like a bridge that needs looking after.
Finish with: "An-Nisa 4:36 asks us to be good to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will call or visit a relative."
Action: Call or visit a relative.
