Start with bismillah.

Ask: "When someone calls your name, what do you do?"

Begin Bandar Baleela's Ar-Ra'd on Nur Al-Haramayn and listen for a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do those who answer Allah's call receive?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I answer Allah's call?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Ra'd is surah 13. Find ayah 18. Allah calls us to pray, be kind and believe. Those who answer receive good. Those who refuse will wish they could trade the whole world to be safe, but that will not help. The ayah's warning is serious and short; the door to answer is open now.

Ages 5–8: Answer the adhan. When you hear the adhan, stop and listen quietly.

Ages 9–12: Answering. Write three ways children can answer Allah's call each day.

Finish with: "Hayya 'alas-salah means ___."

Talk together:

• How do we answer Allah's call?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why does nothing else help on that Day?
• Which call will you answer today?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop what I am doing when I hear the adhan."
