وَجَآءَ إِخْوَةُ يُوسُفَ فَدَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَعَرَفَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ
Wa jā'a 'ikh'watu yūssufa fadakhalū ʻalay'hi faʻarafahum' wahum' lahu munkirūna
Then came Joseph's brethren: they entered his presence, and he knew them, but they knew him not.

4-I guide
Yusuf's brothers came and entered his presence; he recognised them, but they did not recognise him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you recognise someone you hadn't seen for many years?"
Play the short Yusuf clip of ayah 58 from Muslim Ummah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who recognised whom?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Yusuf feel seeing his brothers?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 58. The famine brought the brothers to Egypt to buy food. They stood in front of Yusuf but didn't know him. Remember what Allah told Yusuf in the well (12:15)? It was coming true.
Fact: Reread 12:15. What did Allah promise Yusuf?
Ages 5–8: Grown up. Look at a baby photo of someone in your family. Would you recognise them?
Ages 9–12: Promise coming true. Write how 12:15 is being fulfilled.
Finish with: "In 12:15 Allah told Yusuf ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember Allah keeps His promises."
Action: Remember Allah keeps His promises.
