يَٰصَىٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ ءَأَرْبَابٌۭ مُّتَفَرِّقُونَ خَيْرٌ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
Yāṣāḥibayi ssij'ni 'a'ar'bābun mmutafarriqūna khay'run 'ami -llahu l-wāḥidu l-qahhāru
"O my two companions of the prison! (I ask you): are many lords differing among themselves better, or the One Allah, Supreme and Irresistible?

Yusuf asked his two prison companions whether many separate lords are better, or Allah, the One, the Overpowering.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it easier to follow one wise teacher or many who disagree?"
Muhammad Ayyub recites Yusuf on Daily Deen. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question did Yusuf ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is one Lord better than many?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 39. Yusuf asked a clever question. Many 'gods' would disagree and compete. One Allah, Al-Wahid, Al-Qahhar, is in full control. Tawhid makes life clear and peaceful.
Fact: Al-Anbiya 21:22 says if there were many gods, the heavens and earth would be ruined. Read it.
Ages 5–8: One captain. Talk about what happens if a boat has many captains shouting different orders.
Ages 9–12: Tawhid. Write why believing in One Allah brings peace.
Finish with: "Al-Anbiya 21:22 says with many gods, ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember Allah is One when I feel confused."
Action: Remember Allah is One when you feel confused.
