Ask: "Who comforts you when you are scared?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary reciting Yusuf, shared by Full Quran.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah tell Yusuf in the well?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Allah's message help Yusuf feel?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 15. In the dark well, Yusuf was not alone. Allah sent him comfort: one day you will tell them about this. Allah is with us in our hardest moments.

Fact: In At-Tawbah 9:40, Allah says 'do not grieve, Allah is with us'.

Ages 5–8: Comfort words. Learn 'Allah is with me' to say when you are scared.

Ages 9–12: Never alone. Write how knowing Allah is with you helps in hard times.

Finish with: "At-Tawbah 9:40 says ___."

• When do you need comfort?
• What will you say when you are scared?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'Allah is with me' when I feel scared."
