4-I guide
This ayah teaches that everyone and everything depends on Allah, while He depends on no one.
Start with bismillah.
Put a glass of water on the table. Ask: "Who needs water? You? The cat? The plants? The clouds? What would happen if water stopped?"
Watch the NASA video about the Earth's water cycle: how water moves from the sea to the sky to the land and back again.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah tell us about Allah?" If a word is new, write it down to ask your teacher or an ustaz/ustazah.
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Does Allah ever need anything?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ikhlas is surah 112. Find ayah 2. It is the shortest ayah in this surah. Count its words in the Arabic.
Fact: How long can a small plant stay healthy without water?
Ages 5–8: Needs chain. Draw yourself. Draw arrows to the things you need (water, food, air). Then draw arrows to what those things need (rain, sun, soil). Where does the chain end?
Ages 9–12: Two-plant test. Water one small plant every day and leave the other dry for three days (then water both!). Write down what you see each day.
Finish with: "I found that everything I need also needs ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I need something, I will ask Allah first at ___, and then thank ___."
Action: Try your plan out each day this week.
