وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ فِى هَٰذِهِۦ لَعْنَةًۭ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۚ بِئْسَ ٱلرِّفْدُ ٱلْمَرْفُودُ
Wa 'ut'biʻū fī hādhihī laʻ'natan wayaw'ma l-qiyāmati . bi''sa rrif'du l-mar'fūdu
And they are followed by a curse in this (life) and on the Day of Judgment: and woeful is the gift which shall be given (unto them)!

They are followed by rejection in this world and on the Day of Judgment, and that is a terrible gift to be given.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What kind of 'gift' would you never want?"
Play the short clip from Tilawat Quran Kareem of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 96–109 of Hud.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When does the curse follow them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I earn Allah's blessing instead?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 99. Pharaoh's people earned rejection in both worlds, a 'gift' no one wants. Believers earn Allah's blessing instead. We choose deeds that bring blessing.
Fact: Find the opposite: Allah's blessings on believers in Al-Ahzab 33:43.
Ages 5–8: Good gifts. Talk about deeds that bring Allah's blessing.
Ages 9–12: Blessing or not. Write deeds that earn Allah's blessing.
Finish with: "Al-Ahzab 33:43 says Allah ___ the believers."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do a deed that brings blessing."
Action: Do a deed that brings blessing.
