إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ فَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۖ وَمَآ أَمْرُ فِرْعَوْنَ بِرَشِيدٍۢ
'Ilā fir'ʻaw'na wamala'iyhī fa-ttabaʻū 'am'ra fir'ʻaw'na . wamā 'am'ru fir'ʻaw'na birashīdin
Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: but they followed the command of Pharaoh and the command of Pharaoh was no right (guide).

Musa was sent to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they followed Pharaoh's orders, and Pharaoh's orders were not wise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it right to follow a leader who is wrong?"
SoulFul Quran posted a short recitation of ayat 96–109 of Hud. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whom did the chiefs follow?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't they follow Musa?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 97. The chiefs blindly followed Pharaoh's wrong orders instead of Musa's truth. Following a bad leader leads to a bad end.
Fact: Find Pharaoh's proud claim in An-Nazi'at 79:24.
Ages 5–8: Follow good. Talk about whom you should follow and why.
Ages 9–12: Blind following. Write why following wrong leaders is dangerous.
Finish with: "An-Nazi'at 79:24 says Pharaoh claimed ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will follow good advice from a good person."
Action: Follow good advice from a good person.
