يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَٰذَآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدْ جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَإِنَّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍۢ
Yā'ib'rāhīmu 'aʻ'riḍ' ʻan' hādhā . 'innahu qad' jā'a 'am'ru rabbika . wa'innahum' 'ātīhim' ʻadhābun ghay'ru mar'dūdin
O Abraham! Seek not this. The decree of thy Lord hath gone forth: for them there cometh a penalty that cannot be turned back!

The angels told Ibrahim to leave the matter, because his Lord's command had come and a punishment that could not be turned back was coming to them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Are some decisions final?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What had already come?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why couldn't Ibrahim's pleading change things this time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 76. Lut's people had many chances but refused. Allah's decision was made. Ibrahim's kindness was beautiful, but some choices have consequences that come in the end.
Fact: Ash-Shu'ara 26:165–173 tells of Lut's warnings. Read it with a grown-up.
Ages 5–8: Chances. Talk about why it's important to change while we have chances.
Ages 9–12: Final decisions. Write why Allah gives many chances before a final decision.
Finish with: "Ash-Shu'ara 26:167 shows Lut's people ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will change one thing now, not later."
Action: Change one thing now, not later.
