۞ وَقَالَ ٱرْكَبُوا۟ فِيهَا بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰهَا وَمُرْسَىٰهَآ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
waqāla (i)r'kabū fīhā bis'mi -llahi maj'r.yhā wamur'sāhā . 'inna rabbī laghafūrun rraḥīmun
So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"

Nuh said to board the ark, for in Allah's name it sails and in His name it comes to rest, and his Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you say before starting a journey?"
Play the short clip from HusaryReads of Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi reciting ayat 41–43 of Hud.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "In whose name does the ark sail and stop?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do we say bismillah before travelling?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Hud is surah 11. Find ayah 41. Nuh boarded with 'bismillah': in Allah's name we sail and in Allah's name we stop. Muslims say this du'a when travelling by boat or car. He reminded them Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Fact: Learn the travel du'a beginning 'bismillahi majreha wa mursaha'.
Ages 5–8: Travel du'a. Say 'bismillah' together before the next car ride.
Ages 9–12: Bismillah. Write why starting with Allah's name matters.
Finish with: "Bismillahi majreha wa mursaha means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say bismillah before every journey."
Action: Say bismillah before every journey.
