4-I guide
This ayah asks again what will make us understand, reminding us that only Allah can tell us about it.
Start with bismillah.
A note for parents: this ayah is a question; the focus can stay on "only Allah knows the unseen".
Cut an avocado or a peach in half (an adult does the cutting). Ask: "Could you see the stone inside before we cut it? How do scientists know what's inside the Earth?"
Watch the video about the layers of the Earth and how scientists discovered them (it has background music).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which other ayat in this surah ask the same kind of question?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do we know things we can't see?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qari'ah is surah 101. Find ayah 10. Look back at ayah 3. What is the same about them?
Fact: How do scientists know there is a hot core in the middle of the Earth when nobody has been there?
Ages 5–8: Fruit Earth. Look at half a peach or avocado: skin (crust), flesh (mantle), stone (core). Draw and label it.
Ages 9–12: Make an Earth model with layers of playdough, cut it in half and label crust, mantle, outer core and inner core.
Finish with: "I found that the Earth has ___ main layers."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I don't know something, I will say ___ and try to learn it at ___."
Action: Keep to your plan all week.
