Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Who really owns your toys, your house and the whole world?"

Play the short Yunus clip of ayat 54–58 from My QuranTime.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah own?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah owns everything, what do we own?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 55. We use things for a while, but everything truly belongs to Allah. His promise of the Hereafter is true, even if many people don't realise it.

Fact: Al-Baqarah 2:284 also says everything belongs to Allah.

Ages 5–8: Borrowed. Talk about how everything we have is borrowed from Allah.

Ages 9–12: Trust. Write how treating things as a trust from Allah changes how you use them.

Finish with: "To Allah belongs whatever is in the ___ and the earth."

Talk together:

• What belongs to Allah?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Is His promise true?
• How will you look after what He lent you?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will look after my things as a trust from Allah."

• Everything is Allah's.
• We are borrowers.
• Care for His trust.
• Next time: the next ayah (10:56) says Allah gives life and death. Explore it together!

Action: Look after your things as a trust from Allah.
