Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Where do rivers end up after their long journey?"

Play the short clip from Only for Allah of Emad Al-Mansary reciting ayat 1–10 of Yunus.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will everyone return to?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can Allah bring creation back again?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yunus is surah 10. Find ayah 4. Allah made us the first time, so bringing us back is easy for Him. He will reward people fairly for what they believed and did. Those who rejected Him will face a painful drink and punishment, but the believers' good deeds will never be lost.

Fact: How a seed that looks dead can grow into a new plant. A sign to ponder about Allah bringing life back.

Ages 5–8: Seed test. Plant a bean in a cup and watch for new life.

Ages 9–12: Fair reward. Write why it is fair that good and bad deeds are not treated the same.

Finish with: "Allah started creation and He will ___ it."

Talk together:

• Who do we all return to?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why is Allah's reward fair?
• Which good deed would you like Allah to see?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed and remember that Allah sees it."

• We all return to Allah.
• Plant a seed.
• Do a good deed.
• Next time: the next ayah (10:5) describes the sun's brightness and the moon's light. Explore it together!

Action: Do one good deed and remember that Allah sees it.
