4-I guide
Guide us to the straight path.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the most important thing we ask Allah for?"
A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 6 of Al-Fatihah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What path do we ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask for guidance many times a day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fatihah is surah 1. Find ayah 6. Ihdina as-sirat al-mustaqim. We ask for guidance at least 17 times a day, because we need Allah's help to stay on the right way in every choice.
Fact: Sirat al-mustaqim means the straight path.
Ages 5–8: Straight line. Walk a straight line and talk about staying on the path.
Ages 9–12: Daily du'a. Write why we ask for guidance every day.
Finish with: "Guide us to the ___ path."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for guidance before a big choice."
Action: Ask Allah for guidance before a big choice.
