4-I guide
This ayah tells us that it is Allah who takes on the work of showing the way.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If you were lost in a forest, what would you want most?"
Watch the BBSRC video about the honeyguide, a bird that calls and leads honey hunters to wild bees' nests. (People appear in it.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who takes on the job of guiding?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who taught the honeyguide bird to guide?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Layl is surah 92. Find ayah 12. The key word al-huda means guidance. Allah tells us He has taken it upon Himself.
Fact: How does the honeyguide tell people to follow it?
Ages 5–8: Follow the call. One person hides and makes a special sound. Everyone else follows the sound to find them.
Ages 9–12: Guide map. Draw a map of your home with arrows guiding a visitor to the kitchen, the prayer space and the door. Test it with someone.
Finish with: "I found that the honeyguide leads by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for guidance about ___."
Action: Make your guidance dua every day.
