Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did hypocrisy stay in their hearts?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can one lie grow into many?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 77. Breaking promises and lying are like weeds: if not pulled out, they spread. These people kept lying until hypocrisy filled their hearts. Honesty keeps the heart's garden clean.

Ages 5–8: Weed pulling. Pull a few weeds with a grown-up.

Ages 9–12: Habit growth. Write how small habits can grow, good or bad.

Finish with: "Hypocrisy grew because of broken ___ and lies."
