۞ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ عَٰهَدَ ٱللَّهَ لَئِنْ ءَاتَىٰنَا مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
wamin'hum mman' ʻāhada -llaha la'in' 'ātānā min faḍ'lihī lanaṣṣaddaqanna walanakūnanna mina ṣṣāliḥīna
Amongst them are men who made a covenant with Allah, that if He bestowed on them of His bounty, they would give (largely) in charity, and be truly amongst those who are righteous.

Some of them promised Allah that if He gave them from His bounty, they would surely give in charity and be among the righteous.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever promised to do something 'if only' you got something?"
Islam official146 has a short At-Tawbah clip of Syed Saleem reciting ayat 71–80. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they promise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are 'if only' promises easy to forget?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 75. Some people promised Allah they would give generously if they became rich. Making promises is easy; keeping them is the real test. The next ayah shows what happened.
Fact: Find Al-Isra 17:34: promises will be asked about.
Ages 5–8: Promise now. Instead of 'if only', do a small good deed now.
Ages 9–12: If-only promises. Write why we should do good now, not later.
Finish with: "Promises will be ___ about."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do good now instead of waiting."
Action: Do good now instead of waiting.
