يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Yaḥ'lifūna bi-llahi lakum' liyur'ḍūkum' wa-llahu warassūluhu 'aḥaqqu 'an yur'ḍūhu 'in kānū mu''minīna
To you they swear by Allah. In order to please you: But it is more fitting that they should please Allah and His Messenger, if they are Believers.

They swore by Allah to please the believers, but Allah and His Messenger have a greater right to be pleased, if they were really believers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who is it most important to please?"
MZG has a short At-Tawbah clip of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 62–68. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who has more right to be pleased?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is pleasing Allah more important than pleasing people?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 62. These people worked hard to please the believers with words, but didn't care about pleasing Allah. When we please Allah first, everything else falls into place.
Fact: Al-Baqarah 2:207 is about someone who gives himself to please Allah.
Ages 5–8: Please Allah. Do one thing today only because Allah likes it.
Ages 9–12: People-pleasing. Write the difference between pleasing people and pleasing Allah.
Finish with: "Allah has more right to be ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask 'does this please Allah?' before acting."
Action: Ask 'does this please Allah?' before acting.
