Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How do you know someone truly cares about you?"

A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 128 of At-Tawbah. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two qualities does the Prophet have?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Prophet show he cared?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 128. This beautiful ayah describes the Prophet's love for us. Our hardships upset him, he wants good for us, and he is kind and merciful. Allah describes him with two words, ra'uf and rahim, which are also among Allah's own Names.

Fact: Which two Names of Allah are used for the Prophet here? Ra'uf and Rahim.

Ages 5–8: Salawat. Send salawat on the Prophet ten times.

Ages 9–12: His care. Write three ways the Prophet showed care for people.

Finish with: "The Prophet is described as Ra'uf and ___."

Talk together:

• How does the Prophet feel about us?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What two qualities does he have?
• How can you show love for him?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will send salawat on the Prophet every day."
